The cover has always been considered a simple covering for the roller shutter, purely for aesthetic purposes. When replacing windows and doors, the focus is often on energy efficiency, low-emissivity glass, high-performance frames, roller shutters, etc. Yet, there’s a “fourth side” to the window frame that accounts for up to 25-30% of heat loss from the window opening: the shutter cover. Failure to consider the shutter cover as a technical and functional element leaves a gap for heat loss and noise, nullifying the investment in high-energy efficiency windows and doors that will never achieve the promised performance.
It should not be underestimated that the entire window opening must be upgraded for energy efficiency: the biggest and most common strategic mistake is to simply replace the windows and doors, leaving the old casing or simply covering it for aesthetic reasons.
The insulated casing prevents drafts and contributes to the thermal and acoustic insulation of the window system, as well as being an important design element.
Aluminum Casing Cover
Aluminum casing made exclusively to measure, designed to adapt to all installation needs, both for new construction and for renovations and renovations.
Made of 15/10 aluminum sheet, press-bent, welded, and ground using the most modern automatic equipment.
Finished with a polyester powder coating, or final sublimation decoration with a wood-effect finish using the main industrial paints.
3 x 15 gaskets on the frame and cover fastening with matching metal knobs, or a version with a magnetic cover fastening.
Our manufacturing flexibility also allows us to produce non-standard parts: for example, fixed parts at any point on the container, fixed parts at the sides for belt outlet on the front, containers with multiple lids, corner containers, containers in various shapes, containers with bottom inspection, rounded or square aesthetics, and various types of insulation based on customer requirements.
PVC Cover
The cover is made of a 21 mm thick multi-chamber PVC main profile, heat-sealed on all four sides. The panel retaining frame snaps onto the main profile, complete with a multifunctional gasket that ensures good airtightness and noise insulation, and houses a 24 mm insulated panel.
Removal from the front is simple, allowing for easy inspection of the shutter compartment. This shutter system is particularly suitable for renovations, but can also be used in new construction.
It is supplied exclusively custom-made and with insulation of varying thicknesses in the main veneer finishes: White, Golden Oak, Nussbaum, Veined White, and Douglas
45° Profiled Aluminum Cover
Aluminum cover made to the ideal size for closing and protecting openings where roller shutters (or other types of closures) were not previously planned.
The box allows for the installation of roller shutters even if they were not planned during construction, thanks to its attachment to the outside of the window opening. Made of pre-painted aluminum, it is available in a 45-degree version and in various sizes to minimize space requirements depending on the diameter of the roller shutter it accommodates.
The profiled aluminum box is made in various preset sizes from 137 to 400 mm and consists of die-cast aluminum end caps, a top profile, and a 45-degree front inspection profile. It comes complete with guides and assembly accessories (all components supplied unassembled).
